Role Overview
Wigmore Trading is seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Commission-Only Sales Associate to represent the company in Antananarivo and throughout Madagascar. The successful candidate will identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strong client relationships, and promote Wigmore Trading’s range of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products.
This is a commission-based position suited to an independent, results-oriented professional who thrives in sales and international trade environments.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and business clients across Madagascar.

Promote Wigmore Trading’s portfolio of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms in coordination with the Lagos head office.

Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities and market trends.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and trade partners.
-
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

Represent Wigmore Trading at trade shows, exhibitions, and business forums.

Prepare detailed sales reports and provide regular feedback on market conditions.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred.

3–5 years of experience in sales, trading, or business development.
-
Experience in FMCG, import/export, or B2B distribution is highly desirable.

Strong local network within Madagascar’s retail, wholesale, or manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
Skills & Experience

Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

Fluency in French and Malagasy; English proficiency is an asset.

Strong understanding of Madagascar’s trade and logistics systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple client accounts.
