About the Role

Wigmore Trading is hiring an energetic and entrepreneurial Market Representative to drive operations in Alaba International Market, one of Africa’s largest hubs for electronics, appliances, and home entertainment products. This role requires a proactive, trustworthy professional who can manage orders, onboard traders, and connect importers and distributors with Wigmore’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Oversee logistics for large-scale electronics and appliance orders, ensuring fast, reliable deliveries.

• Onboard Sellers: Recruit electronics dealers, appliance retailers, and wholesalers to Wigmore’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Distributors: Sign up major importers of televisions, sound systems, generators, and other home electronics.

• Market Presence: Represent Wigmore Trading in Alaba, offering credible and hands-on support to merchants.

• Build Partnerships: Strengthen long-term relationships with electronics traders to expand Wigmore’s influence in the market.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in sales, distribution, or electronics/appliance trading.

• Knowledge of Alaba International Market dynamics and electronics supply chains.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and persuasive personality.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Trustworthy and reliable, with a proven ability to build lasting business relationships.
