Role Overview

The Property Representative – Luanda will serve as the local point of contact for property sales, leasing, client support, and market intelligence in Angola. This role demands someone who can act with autonomy, build trust with clients and stakeholders, and effectively market, negotiate, and close real estate transactions in Luanda and nearby regions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow property listings (residential, commercial, land) within Luanda and surrounding districts.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with property owners, tenants, and buyers.

  • Organize and conduct property viewings, presentations, and open houses.

  • Evaluate client needs, provide tailored property recommendations, and guide through transaction processes.

  • Negotiate sales or lease terms on behalf of clients and African Land.

  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and local regulations in Luanda.

  • Prepare activity reports and feed insights into CRM systems.

  • Collaborate with marketing, legal, and operations teams to support transaction execution.

  • Represent African Land at local property events, investor roadshows, and networking forums.


Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.

  • Professional qualification in real estate, brokerage, or property management is beneficial.

  • Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

    • Universidade Agostinho Neto (Luanda) – Economics or Management

    • Universidade Católica de Angola – Business or Finance

    • Universidade Jean Piaget de Angola – Management, Architecture, or Planning

    • Comparable institutions across Africa (e.g. University of Cape Town, University of Nairobi, University of Lagos) reflect the academic standard desired.


Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in property sales, leasing, or real estate advisory.

  • Successful track record in client engagement and closing deals.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English; knowledge of local Angolan dialects is an advantage.

  • Understanding of Angolan property laws, taxation, and regulatory environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing, and property listing platforms.
