Whether you’re importing a few containers or holding stock to distribute, the first questions are always the same: how many pallets is my stock, and what’s the monthly bill? Enter your cargo below for an indicative pallet count and storage cost from Wigmore’s racked and bulk warehousing — the numbers you need before you commit space.
Standard pallets go on racking; anything taller, heavier or bulkier is stored in the bulk environment at a different rate.
No hidden maths — here’s exactly what the estimator does with your numbers.
Wigmore doesn’t just hold your stock — we clear it through the port, warehouse it, and distribute it to a network of over 210,000 SME customers across the region. That means storage isn’t a dead cost: it’s one step in getting your product onto shelves.
This estimator gives you an honest starting figure. The warehousing desk turns it into a firm rate for your actual stock, dwell time and volumes.
Storage rates and value-added charges shown are taken from Wigmore Trading’s 2025 warehousing rate card and are indicative, for estimation only; they are quoted in US dollars and may change. Pallet counts derived from carton inputs are approximations based on a standard pallet of roughly 1.6 CBM and assume regular, stackable cargo; actual pallet requirements depend on your goods and are confirmed on intake. Storage is billed per full month (a pallet leaving within thirty days is charged a full month, renewing on the 31st day). Racked storage applies to pallets up to 1.70 m high, up to 800 kg and within ~1.63 CBM; larger, heavier or bulkier pallets take the bulk rate, which carries a minimum from 200 sqm. The estimate excludes compliance/permit handling (at cost), printing, office/working space, and any duty, clearing or transport charges. Final pricing, minimums and terms are confirmed in writing by Wigmore’s warehousing desk.
Tell the warehousing desk what you’re storing, how much and for how long — and we’ll confirm the pallets, the rate and how to get your stock moving.
