Role Overview

Wigmore Trading is seeking an ambitious and self-driven Commission-Only Sales Associate to represent the company in Khartoum and other key Sudanese markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business relationships, managing client accounts, and increasing sales performance across FMCG, industrial, and commodity product categories.

This position is ideal for a results-oriented, entrepreneurial individual with a strong understanding of Sudan’s trade environment and experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop relationships with new clients, wholesalers, and distributors across Sudan.

  • Promote Wigmore Trading’s range of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms in collaboration with the Lagos head office.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.

  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.

  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent Wigmore Trading at trade exhibitions, business forums, and industry events.

  • Maintain detailed sales records and submit regular performance reports.


Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred.

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, trading, or business development.

  • Proven background in FMCG, import/export, or distribution is highly desirable.

  • Established connections in Sudan’s trading and wholesale sectors are an advantage.


Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong understanding of Sudan’s trade and logistics systems.

  • Fluency in Arabic and English required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.

  • High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
