Job Summary

Africanland is looking for a skilled and dependable CCTV Installer to join our technical team in Accra. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV and surveillance systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The role requires strong technical competence, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality installations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and surveillance equipment
Conduct site surveys to determine camera positioning and system requirements
Install and terminate cables (CAT6, coaxial, power cables) safely and neatly
Configure IP cameras and enable remote access (mobile and desktop viewing)
Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV and security systems
Test systems thoroughly before project handover
Provide clients with guidance on system usage and basic troubleshooting
Maintain service and installation documentation
Ensure compliance with safety and company standards

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a CCTV Installer or Security Systems Technician
Strong knowledge of analog and IP surveillance systems
Experience with brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, or similar is an advantage
Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches)
Ability to use hand and power tools efficiently
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to travel within Accra and surrounding areas
Technical qualification (HND, OND equivalent, Technical Certificate, or Trade Certification preferred)
