Front Office Receptionist – Accra, Ghana

About the Role

African Land is looking for personable and professional Front Office Receptionists to be the first point of contact at our managed buildings and offices in Accra. This role is essential in delivering a welcoming experience to tenants, clients, and visitors while maintaining high standards of communication and administrative support.

The successful candidate will handle front desk operations, manage inquiries, and support the broader property team with organizational and customer service duties. We are hiring for multiple locations across our property portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and attend to all visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage inquiries promptly and efficiently.

  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including client waiting spaces.

  • Manage access control procedures including visitor logs, passes, and security notifications.

  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and maintain front desk scheduling tools.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.

  • Provide administrative support including filing, photocopying, and document preparation.

  • Communicate effectively with the property management and security teams to escalate issues when needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality of tenant and client information at all times.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.

  • Training in customer service or front office operations is an added advantage.


Experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a receptionist, front office, or administrative role.

  • Experience in real estate, hospitality, or office management environments is a plus.


Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional appearance and a warm, welcoming demeanor.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle pressure calmly.
