Wigmore Trading is seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial Market Representative to oversee our operations in Balogun Market, the largest textile and fashion hub in Lagos. This role is perfect for a trustworthy self-starter who thrives in dynamic market environments and is eager to build strong business relationships with traders, wholesalers, and importers.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Manage and coordinate textile and clothing orders, ensuring smooth deliveries for market sellers and buyers.

• Onboard Sellers: Actively recruit fabric merchants, clothing retailers, and lace/Ankara traders to join Wigmore Trading’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Wholesalers: Sign up large-scale textile importers and high-volume wholesalers to strengthen Wigmore’s supply chain network.

• Market Presence: Represent Wigmore Trading within Balogun Market, building credibility and trust among merchants.

• Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term partnerships that expand Wigmore Trading’s footprint in Lagos’ fashion trade ecosystem.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or market engagement.

• Strong knowledge of Lagos markets, especially in textiles, fabrics, or fashion retail.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven personality.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Trustworthy and reliable, with the ability to build lasting business relationships.
