Wigmore Trading is looking for an ambitious and trustworthy Market Representative to drive operations in Idumota Market, one of Lagos’ oldest and busiest wholesale centers. Known for general goods, electronics, and household merchandise, Idumota is a hub for large-scale trading. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and the energy to engage importers, distributors, and retailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Manage wholesale orders and ensure timely deliveries for traders and bulk buyers.

• Onboard Sellers: Recruit electronics dealers, household goods merchants, and general traders onto Wigmore Trading’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Distributors: Sign up high-volume importers and large-scale distributors to strengthen Wigmore’s marketplace.

• Market Presence: Act as Wigmore Trading’s representative within Idumota, supporting merchants with seamless supply chain solutions.

• Partnership Development: Build long-term, trusted relationships with wholesalers to expand Wigmore’s footprint.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven sales, business development, or wholesale market experience.

• Strong knowledge of Lagos trading networks, especially wholesale goods.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-focused personality.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Trustworthy and dependable with a reputation for integrity.
