About the Role

Wigmore Trading is seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Market Representative to manage operations in Nima Market, a vibrant trading hub in Accra known for fresh produce, meat, fish, spices, and everyday essentials. This role is designed for an energetic and trustworthy professional who can engage traders, recruit importers, and oversee efficient order and delivery processes through Wigmore’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Coordinate logistics for fresh produce, meat, fish, grains, and everyday essentials, ensuring smooth and reliable deliveries.

• Onboard Sellers: Recruit foodstuff traders, meat and fish vendors, spice sellers, and general goods merchants to Wigmore’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Wholesalers: Sign up bulk food importers and major distributors supplying Nima Market.

• Market Presence: Represent Wigmore Trading within Nima, providing hands-on support and building strong credibility with traders.

• Partnership Development: Build and sustain long-term relationships with farmers, wholesalers, and distributors to strengthen Wigmore’s role in Accra’s food trade.

Qualifications & Skills

• Sales, agribusiness, or trading experience, preferably in foodstuff or fresh produce.

• Familiarity with Accra’s trade environment, particularly Nima Market.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven personality.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Trustworthy and dependable, with the ability to quickly build credibility with traders and importers.
