The ideal candidate will have a passion for economics, markets, and trade development, combined with the ability to communicate effectively through blogs, articles, and hosting engaging YouTube content. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of African markets, and a flair for connecting with audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis and Research:
   • Conduct in-depth analysis of the Nigerian and African economies, including trends in stock markets, bonds, property, and trade development.
   • Identify and evaluate emerging investment opportunities and risks within the region.
   • Stay updated on global economic trends and their impact on African markets.
2. Content Creation:
   • Write insightful, data-driven blogs and articles to provide value to investors and stakeholders.
   • Create engaging, SEO-friendly content to enhance Wigmore Trading’s digital presence.
3. YouTube Hosting:
   • Host Wigmore Trading’s YouTube channel, presenting discussions on market insights, economic trends, and investment opportunities.
   • Plan, script, and execute video content with a strong focus on informing and engaging the audience.
   • Collaborate with the production team to ensure high-quality video content.
4. Audience Engagement:
   • Build a community of engaged followers by interacting with viewers and readers through comments, live sessions, and Q&A formats.
   • Use storytelling and real-world examples to make complex financial concepts relatable and understandable.
5. Collaboration and Strategy:
   • Work closely with the marketing and business development teams to align content strategies with business goals.
   • Collaborate with external experts, analysts, and industry professionals to enhance content depth and credibility.
6. Performance Monitoring:
   • Analyze content performance using analytics tools to measure reach, engagement, and effectiveness.
   • Use insights to optimize future content and grow the audience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian and African economies, markets, and trade dynamics.
• Proven experience in market analysis, research, or financial writing.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a talent for making complex concepts engaging.
• Confident on-camera presence with excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with content creation tools, video production processes, and YouTube best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
• Passion for African trade and development, with a deep understanding of investment opportunities in the region.
