Role Overview

African Land is seeking a professional and well-organised Property Listing Agent to join its team in Abidjan. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and managing property listings, ensuring accurate information, high-quality presentation, and effective marketing of all assets on African Land’s platforms.

This role is ideal for a dynamic self-starter who understands the Ivorian property market, can develop strong relationships with property owners and developers, and is capable of maintaining consistent listing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Source new property listings across Abidjan and surrounding areas.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, developers, and property owners.

• Collect and verify property details, documentation, and visual media.

• Prepare property descriptions, pricing details, and listing materials for publication.

• Ensure listings meet African Land’s quality, branding, and accuracy standards.

• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to promote listings effectively.

• Maintain database accuracy within CRM and property management systems.

• Monitor listing performance, client feedback, and market trends.

• Represent African Land professionally at local property fairs and business events.

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, or Communications.

• Relevant certification in property management, brokerage, or valuation is advantageous.

• Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

  • Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny – Economics, Urban Planning, or Business

  • Institut National Polytechnique Houphouët-Boigny – Engineering or Management

  • Université Nangui Abrogoua – Geography or Urban Studies

  • Université Catholique de l’Afrique de l’Ouest – Management or Finance

  • Comparable regional institutions such as the University of Lagos, University of Ghana, or University of Cape Town represent the expected academic level.

Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years’ experience in property listing, real estate marketing, or client management.

• Understanding of Abidjan’s property market, regulations, and zoning policies.

• Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written).

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Experience using CRM platforms, online property portals, and digital marketing tools.

• Ability to produce accurate and appealing property descriptions and visuals.
