As part of our expansion strategy, Wigmore Trading is launching a fintech platform focused on mobile money and payment integration infrastructure. The platform will enable businesses, fintech companies, and developers to connect seamlessly to multiple payment systems through a single API.
Our goal is to simplify digital payments, improve transaction reliability, and help businesses integrate payment solutions across banks, mobile money providers, and digital wallets.
Role Summary
The Head of Mobile Payments & Fintech Integration will lead the development and growth of Wigmore Trading’s mobile payments infrastructure and fintech API platform.
The role focuses on building unified integrations across mobile money services, banking networks, and digital payment providers, enabling businesses to process transactions reliably through a single integration layer.
This position requires a professional with strong experience in fintech platforms, payment systems, digital banking infrastructure, or financial technology product development.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Platform Development

Lead the development of Wigmore Trading’s payment integration and mobile money API platform.

Design systems that allow businesses to connect to multiple payment providers through a single integration.

Ensure reliable transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation capabilities.
Fintech Infrastructure & Integration

Build integrations with mobile money providers, banks, and payment networks.

Develop APIs and developer tools that allow fintech companies and merchants to easily adopt the platform.

Implement systems for transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and payment reconciliation.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure the platform complies with financial regulations and payment security standards.

Implement strong KYC, fraud prevention, and transaction monitoring systems.

Maintain operational standards aligned with regulatory requirements for fintech platforms.
Business Development

Build partnerships with banks, fintech companies, e-commerce platforms, and mobile network operators.

Develop commercial models including transaction fees, revenue-sharing agreements, and platform subscriptions.

Expand adoption among merchants, fintech startups, and enterprise clients.
Platform Operations

Build and lead teams across engineering, compliance, risk management, and operations.

Monitor platform performance, transaction reliability, and system uptime.

Ensure high service availability and strong operational processes.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
-
7+ years of experience in fintech, payments infrastructure, banking technology, or financial platforms.

Experience building or managing payment gateways, mobile money integrations, or financial APIs.

Experience working with banks, payment networks, or fintech companies.
Skills

Strong understanding of digital payments and fintech infrastructure.

Experience managing complex integrations with financial systems.

Strong leadership and product development capability.

Ability to build partnerships across financial institutions and technology providers.
Preferred Qualifications
