Job Overview:

African Land is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our growing technical team in Lagos. This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in solar panel installation, electrical systems, and modern high-tech equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering reliable, efficient, and innovative energy and electrical solutions across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Design and install solar panel systems, inverters, and battery storage solutions
• Conduct site inspections and assess electrical requirements for new installations
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions
• Work with advanced electrical and electronic systems, including smart technologies
• Ensure all installations comply with Nigerian safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other technicians on-site
• Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and inspections

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably within solar or renewable energy projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols
• Experience installing solar panels, inverters, and related components
• Ability to handle high-tech and sophisticated electrical equipment
• Relevant technical certification (e.g., NABTEB, Trade Test, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2–5 years of practical experience
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with off-grid and hybrid solar systems
• Familiarity with energy efficiency systems and smart home technologies
• Basic understanding of electrical design and load calculations
• Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects
