The initiative will provide low-cost education devices, smart classroom infrastructure, and connectivity solutions that support students, teachers, and schools across Nigeria.
Role Summary
The Head of Education Technology & Learning Infrastructure will lead the development and growth of Wigmore Trading’s education technology platform.
The role focuses on deploying digital learning tools such as student tablets, smart classrooms, solar-powered study solutions, and connectivity infrastructure that support modern learning environments.
This position requires a professional with strong experience in education technology, digital learning platforms, school infrastructure projects, or educational program management.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Strategy Development

Develop the strategy for Wigmore Trading’s education technology and learning infrastructure platform.

Identify opportunities to deploy low-cost learning devices, smart classroom systems, and digital learning tools.

Design scalable models for device distribution, digital learning services, and school connectivity programs.
Education Technology Deployment
-
Lead the deployment of student tablets, digital learning platforms, classroom projectors, and education software systems.

Implement smart classroom solutions that support multimedia learning, attendance systems, and digital grading tools.

Develop infrastructure that supports remote learning and blended education models.
Partnerships & Institutional Engagement

Build partnerships with schools, education ministries, NGOs, and international education organizations.

Collaborate with telecom providers and technology partners to expand connectivity in schools.

Work with examination bodies and educational institutions to integrate digital learning tools.
School Infrastructure & Connectivity

Develop projects that provide solar-powered lighting, internet connectivity, and digital classroom infrastructure.

Deploy mobile learning platforms such as connected classrooms and digital learning hubs.

Ensure reliable infrastructure for education technology deployment.
Operations & Platform Management

Build and manage teams across education technology deployment, training, and customer support.

Implement systems for monitoring learning outcomes, device usage, and program performance.

Ensure ongoing maintenance and support for education technology infrastructure.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Education Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
-
7–10 years of experience in education technology, digital learning platforms, or educational infrastructure development.

Experience working with schools, educational institutions, or digital learning providers.

Experience managing education programs or technology deployment projects.
Skills

Strong understanding of digital learning platforms and education technology systems.

Experience managing large-scale education infrastructure or device deployment projects.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability.

Ability to build partnerships with education institutions and government agencies.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with education technology providers or digital learning platforms.
