As part of our expansion strategy, Wigmore Trading is launching an enterprise networking platform focused on SD-WAN and managed connectivity services. The goal is to help businesses replace expensive legacy networking systems with flexible, internet-based wide area networking solutions.
These solutions will enable organizations to connect multiple offices, branches, and remote teams using software-defined networking that improves reliability, security, and network performance.
Role Summary
The Head of Enterprise Networking & SD-WAN Solutions will lead the development and growth of Wigmore Trading’s enterprise networking services platform.
The role focuses on building solutions that enable companies to connect multiple offices and networks through centrally managed SD-WAN infrastructure, reducing reliance on traditional MPLS networks.
This position requires a professional with strong experience in enterprise networking, telecommunications infrastructure, SD-WAN technologies, or network security platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & Product Development

Lead the development of Wigmore Trading’s SD-WAN and enterprise connectivity platform.

Design networking solutions that enable centralised management of enterprise networks across multiple locations.

Implement systems for secure internet-based networking, VPN orchestration, and traffic optimisation.
Enterprise Network Infrastructure

Deploy SD-WAN infrastructure across corporate branches, offices, and distributed enterprise networks.

Implement tools that provide centralised network visibility, bandwidth management, and failover capabilities.

Ensure high levels of reliability, network security, and uptime.
Customer Solutions & Implementation

Design networking solutions tailored to banks, retail chains, government agencies, and multinational companies.

Lead deployment projects including network architecture design, hardware installation, and system integration.

Provide ongoing managed networking services and customer support.
Business Development

Build partnerships with telecommunications providers, enterprise IT integrators, and network infrastructure vendors.

Develop commercial models including per-node subscription pricing, managed network services, and professional implementation services.

Expand enterprise adoption across industries with distributed branch networks.
Platform Operations

Build and manage teams covering network engineering, enterprise sales, and technical support.

Monitor system reliability, network performance, and service uptime.

Ensure strong operational processes for enterprise client onboarding and support.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
-
8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, telecommunications infrastructure, SD-WAN systems, or managed network services.

Experience deploying enterprise networking solutions for corporate or institutional clients.

Experience working with network infrastructure vendors or telecom service providers.
Skills

Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture, VPN systems, and SD-WAN technologies.

Experience managing complex enterprise network deployments.

Strong leadership and enterprise technology project management capability.

Ability to develop partnerships with telecom providers and enterprise customers.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with enterprise networking platforms or SD-WAN vendors.
