As part of our expansion strategy, Wigmore Trading is launching a healthcare services division focused on hybrid clinics, telemedicine, diagnostics, and pharmacy services. The aim is to improve access to convenient, affordable, and reliable healthcare for families, employers, and communities.
We are seeking a highly capable professional to lead the development and scaling of this healthcare business unit.
Role Summary
The Head of Healthcare Services will lead Wigmore Trading’s hybrid healthcare platform combining physical clinics, telemedicine consultations, diagnostics services, and pharmacy operations.
The role focuses on building clinic operations, developing healthcare partnerships, launching digital health services, and establishing employer healthcare plans.
This position requires an experienced leader with a background in healthcare management, digital health, clinic operations, or healthcare business development.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
-
Develop and implement the strategy for Wigmore Trading’s hybrid healthcare services platform.

Identify opportunities for primary care clinics, telemedicine services, diagnostics labs, and pharmacy operations.

Build partnerships with hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare technology providers.
Clinic & Telemedicine Operations

Establish and manage hybrid clinic locations combining in-person care and telemedicine consultations.

Oversee patient care workflows, appointment scheduling, and telemedicine platforms.

Ensure high standards of clinical governance, patient safety, and service quality.
Diagnostics & Pharmacy Services

Develop integrated services including laboratory diagnostics, health screenings, and pharmacy dispensing.

Manage procurement and supply chains for medical equipment and pharmaceuticals.

Introduce diagnostic packages for preventive care and chronic disease management.
Employer Healthcare Programs

Develop healthcare packages for SMEs and corporate employers.

Offer predictable subscription-based healthcare services for employees.

Provide reporting and health management tools for employer clients.
Team Leadership

Recruit and manage healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory technicians.

Build administrative teams covering operations, customer service, and technology.

Create systems for patient records, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
-
7+ years of experience in healthcare operations, clinic management, digital health platforms, or healthcare business development.

Experience managing clinical teams, healthcare services, or medical facilities.
-
Proven experience building partnerships within the healthcare ecosystem.
Skills

Strong leadership and operational management skills.

Knowledge of healthcare service delivery models and patient care systems.

Experience with telemedicine platforms or digital health solutions.

Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience launching or managing primary care clinics or telemedicine platforms.

Familiarity with Nigeria’s healthcare regulatory framework.
