As part of our expansion strategy, Wigmore Trading is launching a telecommunications software platform focused on interconnect billing and reconciliation services for telecom operators.
The goal is to help mobile network operators and telecom providers improve billing accuracy, reduce revenue leakage, and automate reconciliation processes required for regulatory compliance.
Role Summary
The Head of Telecom Billing & Interconnect Solutions will lead the development and growth of Wigmore Trading’s telecom billing and reconciliation software platform.
The role focuses on building technology solutions that automate interconnect billing processes between telecom operators, detect billing discrepancies, and provide accurate reconciliation reports.
This position requires a professional with strong experience in telecom operations, billing systems, OSS/BSS platforms, or telecom software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Platform Development

Lead the design and development of Wigmore Trading’s interconnect billing and reconciliation platform.

Develop systems that automate reconciliation for voice, SMS, and data interconnect traffic between telecom networks.

Ensure the platform supports accurate tariff management, dispute resolution, and reconciliation reporting.
Telecom Industry Partnerships

Build relationships with mobile network operators (MNOs), MVNOs, and telecom carriers.

Work with telecom partners to integrate the platform with existing billing and OSS/BSS systems.

Develop pilot programs with telecom operators to validate the solution.
Compliance & Regulatory Alignment

Ensure the platform supports regulatory compliance with telecommunications billing and reporting requirements.

Maintain accurate audit trails and reporting tools required by telecom regulators.
Business Development

Develop commercial models including software subscriptions, transaction-based pricing, and enterprise licensing.

Identify opportunities with telecom operators upgrading or replacing legacy billing systems.
Operations & Delivery

Build a team of telecom software engineers, data analysts, and integration specialists.

Manage client onboarding, system integration, and ongoing support services.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
-
7+ years of experience in telecommunications operations, billing systems, OSS/BSS platforms, or telecom software development.

Experience working with mobile network operators, telecom infrastructure providers, or telecom software vendors.

Experience managing enterprise technology platforms or telecom software projects.
Skills

Strong understanding of telecom billing systems and interconnect processes.

Experience working with large-scale transaction processing or telecom data systems.

Strong partnership development and enterprise sales capability.

Ability to lead technical teams and complex technology projects.
Preferred Qualifications
