As part of our expansion strategy, Wigmore Trading is launching a telecommunications security and fraud detection platform designed to help mobile network operators detect and prevent call traffic fraud such as SIM-box bypass, call spoofing, and telecom routing fraud.
The platform will provide real-time monitoring, fraud analytics, and investigation tools to help telecom operators protect network revenues and maintain service quality.
Role Summary
The Head of Telecom Fraud Detection & Network Security will lead the development and growth of Wigmore Trading’s telecom fraud monitoring and analytics platform.
The role focuses on building systems that detect fraudulent telecom traffic, identify illegal gateways, and provide actionable intelligence to telecom operators and regulatory authorities.
This position requires a professional with strong experience in telecommunications security, fraud detection systems, telecom analytics, or network monitoring platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Platform Development

Lead the design and development of Wigmore Trading’s telecom fraud detection and monitoring platform.

Develop systems capable of detecting SIM-box bypass, call spoofing, and abnormal telecom traffic patterns.

Implement analytics tools that identify suspicious traffic behavior and network anomalies.
Telecommunications Integration

Build integrations with mobile network operators’ call data record (CDR) systems and network infrastructure.

Ensure the platform can analyze large volumes of telecom traffic in real time.

Develop monitoring dashboards that provide actionable insights to telecom operators.
Fraud Investigation & Intelligence

Develop tools for identifying and tracing fraudulent call routing networks and illegal gateways.

Support telecom operators with forensic analysis and fraud prevention strategies.

Provide analytics reports that help operators quantify revenue losses and fraud risks.
Regulatory & Industry Partnerships

Build relationships with telecommunications regulators, law enforcement agencies, and telecom operators.

Support compliance initiatives that improve network transparency and fraud prevention.

Participate in industry forums and regulatory initiatives addressing telecom fraud.
Platform Operations

Build and manage teams covering network analytics, cybersecurity, and telecom systems engineering.

Monitor platform performance, detection accuracy, and false-positive rates.

Ensure reliable system performance and secure handling of telecom data.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience
-
7+ years of experience in telecom security, fraud detection systems, network monitoring, or telecom analytics.

Experience working with mobile network operators, telecom infrastructure providers, or network security platforms.

Experience analyzing telecom traffic data such as call detail records or network activity logs.
Skills

Strong understanding of telecom network architecture and signaling systems.

Experience with fraud detection analytics and anomaly detection platforms.

Strong leadership and technical management capability.

Ability to build partnerships with telecom operators and regulators.
