About the Role

Wigmore Trading is hiring an energetic and entrepreneurial Market Representative to oversee operations in Karmo Market, one of Abuja’s busiest centers for foodstuff, fresh produce, livestock, and general goods. This role is ideal for a proactive and trustworthy professional who can manage bulk orders, sign up importers, and build long-term relationships with traders through Wigmore’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Coordinate and manage bulk and retail deliveries of foodstuff, produce, and general goods.

• Onboard Sellers: Recruit farmers, produce traders, livestock merchants, and retailers to Wigmore’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Wholesalers: Connect with large-scale food and goods importers, signing them up to Wigmore’s marketplace.

• Market Presence: Represent Wigmore Trading on-site at Karmo Market, offering credible and reliable support to traders.

• Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with traders, importers, and wholesalers to expand Wigmore’s footprint.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in sales, trading, or agribusiness, particularly in foodstuff or livestock.

• Strong knowledge of Abuja’s trade networks, especially Karmo Market.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-focused personality.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Trustworthy and dependable, with the ability to build credibility and lasting partnerships.
