Role Overview

African Land is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Property Agent to join its Accra office. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the company’s property portfolio, managing client relationships, and facilitating property transactions in the Accra metropolitan area.

This position suits an energetic and ambitious individual with a passion for real estate, excellent people skills, and the ability to close deals in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Market and sell residential, commercial, and land properties in Accra and surrounding regions.

  • Source, verify, and maintain property listings in the company’s database.

  • Build and nurture relationships with property owners, landlords, and developers.

  • Conduct viewings, property tours, and client meetings.

  • Negotiate offers, prepare documentation, and assist with closing processes.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote properties through online and offline channels.

  • Keep up to date with local market trends, prices, and competition.

  • Prepare regular performance reports and meet monthly sales targets.


Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Professional certification from GREPA, RICS, or a similar body is an advantage.

  • Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

    • University of Ghana – Business, Economics, or Real Estate

    • Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) – Land Economy or Architecture

    • Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) – Management or Marketing

    • Central University – Business or Real Estate

    • Comparable institutions such as the University of Lagos, University of Nairobi, or University of Cape Town indicate the desired standard.


Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in property sales, leasing, or real estate consultancy.

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Twi or Ga is a plus).

  • Familiarity with Accra’s property market and regulatory environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing, and property listing platforms.

  • Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple clients simultaneously.
