Polymers and sheets
Styrene polymers, acrylic polymers and other vinyl polymers need an exact grade or approved property specification. Identify the processing method, colour, additives and permitted alternatives. A polymer family name is not enough to compare manufacturing performance.
Self-adhesive plastics, plastic building materials, wash basins and housewares require construction, dimensions, finish and intended-use requirements. Adhesive products also need substrate and service conditions. Do not assume food-contact or building-code suitability from the material name.
Rubber products
Synthetic rubber and compounded unvulcanised rubber need composition or grade, processing and storage requirements. Rubber sheets, pipes and belting require dimensions, reinforcement, working conditions and application-specific evidence.
Pressure, chemical contact, temperature and mechanical duty can affect selection. The buyer’s technical team should approve compatibility and substitutions. A rubber pipe or belt with the right dimensions may still be unsuitable for the actual service.
Trials and quality control
Agree sample approval and a production trial where appropriate. Set measurable bulk-order limits and lot identification. For finished components, use drawings and functional tests rather than a visual sample alone.
Verify recycled-content, certified-material or other claims for the actual goods. Keep technical data, safety information and test records aligned to the offered grade. A supplier’s general brochure should not replace product-specific evidence.
