Buy from the UK, with our London team doing the checks
Buying from the UK is less about finding a supplier and more about getting the rules right at both ends: whisky that has to leave a bonded warehouse duty-free, medicines that must come from a licensed wholesaler, cars that are right-hand drive, and scrap metal deals that are only as good as the weighbridge ticket. Our London team buys, checks and ships for clients in Nigeria, Ghana and across Africa.
What our clients buy from the UK
Scotch whisky, gin & spirits
Bought from bonded warehouses and exported duty-suspended, so you don’t pay UK excise. Nigeria bans spirits above 48.5% alcohol, with some exceptions, so cask-strength bottles need checking first.

Skincare & beauty brands
UK and European brands for pharmacies and beauty shops. Products sold in Nigeria need NAFDAC registration, and in Ghana FDA registration.
Health & beauty range →
Medicines & medical supplies
Only from MHRA-licensed wholesalers, with batch documents. Some common generics, such as paracetamol tablets, are on Nigeria’s restricted import list.

Scrap copper & aluminium
Graded scrap from licensed UK dealers, bought against inspection photos, assay or grade sheets and weighbridge tickets.

Can I ship a UK car to my country?
This is the question we are asked most. The answer depends on which side of the road your country drives on and its age limit.
| Destination | UK (right-hand drive) car? | Age rule in 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Nigeria | Generally no: cars for normal registration must be left-hand drive | Used cars over 12 years old are prohibited |
| Ghana | No: right-hand drive cars cannot be registered | Check current age penalties with Ghana Customs before buying |
| Kenya | Yes: Kenya drives on the left | Only cars first registered in 2019 or later (8-year rule) |
| Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia | Yes: all drive on the left | Each has its own age limits and duties; ask us before you bid |
Sources: Legit.ng on Nigeria’s 2026 car import rules (July 2026); DHL on Kenya’s 8-year rule (January 2026). Rules change, so we confirm them on every order.
Fake “UK copper” offers with bargain prices, photos copied from the web and demands for upfront “loading fees” are common. We only buy from licensed UK dealers we can visit, and we release payment against inspection and weighbridge tickets. Read our anti-fraud guide.
