Food-processing and agricultural machinery from Spain should be selected around the crop, process and output required. A machine that performs well on a demonstration material may not produce the same result on the buyer’s actual feed. Wigmore Trading can discuss equipment sourcing and project logistics for a defined duty.
Farm machinery
Soil-preparation, harvesting and other agricultural machinery need crop, soil, terrain, tractor or power compatibility and operating requirements. Specify attachments, working width or capacity and transport constraints. The buyer’s technical team should approve the configuration.
For seasonal operations, delivery and commissioning dates matter as much as nominal capacity. Plan training, consumables and service support before the relevant fieldwork period.
Industrial food preparation
Food-preparation machines need product-contact materials, cleaning, capacity, temperature or other process requirements and the intended food. Define the performance test using representative material and agreed output quality.
Check whether the offer is a standalone machine or a complete line. Feeding, conveyors, controls, packaging, utilities and installation may be separate. A low equipment price can conceal substantial integration work.
Safety and acceptance
Specify guards, interlocks, manuals, controls and operator requirements. Confirm destination conformity and installation obligations for the actual equipment. A certification statement should be verified for the model and scope offered.
Agree factory testing, inspection stages, commissioning and acceptance criteria. Record the test material and conditions. The contract should explain how a failure to meet the agreed duty will be resolved.
Support and lifecycle cost
| Cost area | What to include |
|---|---|
| Initial | Equipment, accessories, freight, installation and testing. |
| Operating | Energy, water, consumables, cleaning and labour. |
| Service | Wear parts, diagnostics, software, technicians and warranty. |
Ask where parts will come from and who can support the machine in the receiving country. A recognised brand does not automatically establish local service. For used machinery, obtain a condition assessment and explicit refurbishment scope.
Request a project offer
Send Wigmore the process brief, equipment schedule, destination and target date. We can discuss supplier identification, procurement, inspection and logistics. Model availability, performance, brand status and support commitments are confirmed for the particular offer.
Plan site readiness and unloading alongside procurement. Equipment arriving before foundations, power or receiving access are ready can create storage costs and delay production.
Prepare your sourcing enquiry
This checklist is for your own preparation and does not submit data.
Discuss your Spain sourcing or shipping requirement
Send Wigmore Trading your product or cargo details, quantity, destination and target date. We can assess supplier coordination, procurement and logistics within an agreed scope. Availability, eligibility, price and delivery commitments are confirmed for the particular offer.
