Job Overview:

African Land is seeking a versatile and skilled Painter, Plasterer, and Tiler to join our finishing team in Lagos. This role is ideal for a professional experienced in delivering high-quality surface finishes, including painting, plastering, and tiling across residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our developments meet the highest standards of durability and visual appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for finishing, including cleaning, leveling, and priming
• Apply plaster to walls and ceilings to create smooth or textured finishes
• Install wall and floor tiles with precision, ensuring proper alignment and spacing
• Cut and fit tiles around edges, corners, and fixtures
• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
• Repair cracks, holes, and surface imperfections before finishing
• Ensure all finishing work meets quality and aesthetic standards
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in painting, plastering, and tiling within construction projects
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, tools, and techniques
• Ability to deliver clean, smooth, and precise finishes
• Experience with tile installation, grout work, and surface leveling
• Relevant trade certification is an advantage
• Minimum of 2–5 years of practical experience
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with decorative finishes and textured plastering
• Knowledge of waterproofing and protective coatings
• Familiarity with modern tiling designs and materials
• Experience working on large residential or commercial developments
