Metals, ores and industrial residues from Spain require clear identity, composition, origin and legal classification. Nonferrous metals and ores

Raw copper, copper bars, pipes, fittings, stranded wire, aluminium wire, foil or cans, zinc sheets, raw tin and other metal products need grade and dimensional requirements. Precious-metal enquiries such as platinum require identity, purity and a verifiable documentary chain.

Zinc ore, lead ore, precious-metal ore and other minerals need representative sampling, composition, moisture and quantity measurement. An assay describes the sample tested; it does not automatically prove the composition of an entire unspecified shipment.

Residues and environmental classification

Slag, ash, nonferrous residues, recovered material and other industrial by-products need a determination of whether they are products, by-products or waste under applicable rules. Hazardous characteristics, intended processing and destination authorisation can affect whether movement is permitted.

Only appropriately authorised recovery or manufacturing routes should be considered. Establish exporter, carrier, importer and receiving-facility responsibilities before contracting. No shipment is offered as a way to avoid waste controls or disposal obligations.

Consult the European Commission’s current waste-shipment guidance when the material is classified as waste. Applicable rules and transition dates must be checked for the actual movement.

Supplier and title verification

Verify the legal seller, material source and authority to supply. Connect documents to identified stock or lots. A warehouse image, copied assay or unusually low quotation does not establish ownership or available quantity.

Agree inspection, sampling methods, laboratories, retained samples and dispute handling. Independent checks should be proportionate to value and risk. For precious metals, do not infer investment value or a guaranteed resale outcome from a purity statement.

Compare complete terms

Price formulas, premiums or deductions should be transparent. Compare the same grade, quantity and delivery basis. Avoid treating a reference exchange price as a complete commercial offer.
