Polymers, plastic products, packaging materials and paper from India should be bought for the manufacturing or packing process they must support. Resins and plastic sheeting

Ethylene polymers, propylene polymers and polyacetals need the exact grade or an approved performance specification. State the processing method, intended application and relevant properties. Do not treat a generic polymer name as an interchangeable manufacturing input.

Raw plastic sheeting and other sheet products require composition, thickness, width, finish, colour and tolerances. Identify whether the material is for food contact, construction, industrial processing or another use. Recycled content and other claims need evidence for the actual product.

Finished packaging

Packing bags, plastic lids and other plastic products need drawings, dimensions, closure or seal performance and compatibility with the filled product. Approve artwork, markings and samples before bulk production. A lid fitting a nominal container size may still fail on the actual neck finish.

Food, pharmaceutical and chemical packaging can require different material and cleanliness controls. Confirm migration, compatibility or other applicable evidence with the buyer’s technical team. Do not assume that all plastic packaging is suitable for every substance.

Paper and coated paper

Uncoated paper and kaolin-coated paper need grade, weight, dimensions, surface, printing or converting requirements and moisture considerations. Agree how the paper will be used and what constitutes acceptable runnability or appearance.

Some finished paper and packaging categories face destination restrictions. Confirm the exact classification and current rules before placing an order. A broad “paper” description does not establish that a carton, tissue or another converted product is eligible.

Quality control and production trials

Connect sample approval to measurable bulk-order requirements. Establish inspection, lot identification and the claim process. A successful sample run is useful only if production supply is controlled to the same specification.
