What you’ll need at the other end

Transit times are port to port in normal conditions, from Sino-Shipping (China–Nigeria and China–Ghana, October 2026; China–Africa overview, March 2026) and Cargolinked (May 2026). Door-to-door adds two to three weeks for collection, customs and delivery. Times change with routing, so we confirm them on every booking.

Questions buyers ask us

Do you have staff in China, or do you just use agents?

We have our own people on the ground in China, as well as in Nigeria, Ghana, the UK and the USA. They visit factories, collect samples, inspect goods and coordinate freight.

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the factory. Many Yiwu and Guangzhou suppliers sell by the carton; factories making to your specification usually set a minimum quantity. Tell us your quantity and we will find suppliers who work at that level.

How do I pay a Chinese supplier safely?

Pay a deposit against a written contract, hold the balance until the goods pass pre-shipment inspection, and only pay into a company account that matches the invoice. We can set up staged payments with the supplier and inspect the goods before the balance is released.

How long does shipping from China to Lagos take?

About 35–38 days port to port for a full container and 36–42 days for shared (LCL) cargo. Allow 7–9 weeks door to door once production is finished. Air freight is 5–13 days.

Can you buy from Alibaba or 1688 for me?

Yes. We can verify a supplier you found, negotiate, inspect and ship, or search for better factories if the price or quality is not right.

Can you help me visit the Canton Fair?

Yes. We can plan your visit, or walk the fair for you if you cannot travel. The fair runs twice a year in Guangzhou, in spring and autumn; the autumn 2026 session ends on 4 November.
