Farm and construction equipment
Tractors need the intended implements, traction, power and hydraulic requirements. Excavation machinery and large construction vehicles need operating weight, reach or capacity, ground conditions and attachment compatibility. The buyer’s technical team should approve the configuration.
Check dimensions, clearance, access and transport between work sites. A machine suited to one project may be impractical for another because of ground pressure, turning space or lifting and loading limits.
Delivery trucks and road use
Specify payload, body type, axle arrangement, route conditions and intended cargo. Gross ratings, body weight and legal loading requirements must be reconciled. Confirm the exact variant’s registration and operating eligibility in the destination.
For chassis-and-body orders, establish who designs and builds the body, what evidence is required and how the completed unit is accepted. Do not assume a chassis quotation includes a finished working vehicle.
New, used and refurbished condition
State the required condition explicitly. For used equipment, review identification, hours, maintenance history and an independent inspection suited to the machine. Test major functions where practical and document known defects.
Refurbishment should have a defined work scope and evidence. Cosmetic repainting does not establish engine, hydraulic or structural condition. Confirm what has been replaced, what remains used and what warranty applies.
