Samsung S10 price in Nigeria (September 2026)

Source: Jiji.ng Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10e listings, checked 28 September 2026. The ₦175,000 S10+ had a replaced screen. A 2019 phone sold as “brand new” in 2026 is old stock or refurbished, so inspect it like a used phone. We found no current S10 Lite or S10 5G price data.

How much should you pay? For a clean, working 128GB S10 with an original screen, about ₦190,000 to ₦210,000 is fair in Lagos. At ₦230,000 or more, you’re paying S21 money (see below). Most stock is in Lagos, especially Ikeja, with more in Port Harcourt, Enugu, Uyo and Abuja.

Corrections to our earlier guide. The old version of this page listed the S10 with 6GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a “Dual-Core 10-Core Snapdragon 855”, a 4,000mAh battery and an 8MP selfie camera. The real figures are 8GB of RAM; 128GB or 512GB of storage; an Exynos 9820 on international units (Snapdragon 855 on US, Canadian and Chinese units); a 3,400mAh battery; and a 10MP selfie camera. It also called the S10 “the latest” Samsung, which it hasn’t been since 2020.

What affects the price of a Samsung S10

• Screen condition. This is the biggest factor. AMOLED screens can show “burn-in” (ghost images of the keyboard or status bar), and original Samsung screens are expensive to replace. Replaced or burnt screens should cost much less.
• Model and storage. S10e < S10 < S10+. Each step up in storage adds roughly ₦30,000 to ₦60,000.
• Battery wear. The S10 has a 3,400mAh battery that is now six or seven years old. A tired battery is common.
• Origin. “UK used” and “direct UK” units often sit at the top of the range. A US unit will have the Snapdragon chip, which some buyers prefer.
• Seller. Verified business sellers sometimes offer a short warranty or bulk prices. Get the terms in writing.

Source: Samsung Galaxy S10 specifications as compiled on Wikipedia. All four models support wireless charging. They launched on Android 9 (One UI 1.1), and their final major update was Android 12 (One UI 4.1).

What about the S10 Lite? It’s a different phone, announced in January 2020. It has a 6.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 855 in every market, a 4,500mAh battery, and updates up to Android 13 (One UI 5.1). Don’t let a seller price it as a “real” S10+.

Is the Samsung S10 still worth buying in 2026?

The good: a sharp 1440p screen, a flagship-grade triple camera on the S10 and S10+, and wireless charging, all for under ₦220,000.

The bad: no security updates since April 2023, a small 3,400mAh battery that is probably worn by now, and slow 15W charging. The lack of security patches matters most if you use banking apps.

Worked example. Suppose you have ₦240,000. A “brand new” S10 at ₦240,000 is a 2019 phone with no updates since 2023. For about the same money, a used 128GB S21 (₦230,000 to ₦250,000 on Jiji) is two generations newer. Our advice: at ₦240,000, buy the S21. At ₦190,000, a clean S10 is good value.

Checklist: how to buy a used S10 safely

1. Check the screen for burn-in. Open a plain white page and a grey image at full brightness. Look for faint keyboard or status-bar shadows, pink or green tints, and dead spots.
2. Test the in-screen fingerprint sensor. Replacement screens often break it, and a dead sensor is a sign the screen isn’t original.
3. Confirm the model. Settings > About phone should show the exact model (S10, S10+ or S10e). Make sure an S10 Lite isn’t being sold as an S10.
4. Match the IMEI. Dial *#06# and compare the number with the SIM tray and the box.
5. Remove old accounts. The phone should be factory-reset and set up without asking for the previous owner’s Google or Samsung account. A phone still locked to someone’s account is unusable.
6. Test charging. Try both a cable and a wireless charger if you have one, and check that the battery doesn’t drop fast during a 10-minute video.
7. Check the cameras, including the ultra-wide and telephoto lenses, plus both SIM slots, the speaker and the microphone.
8. Get a receipt with the IMEI and any warranty terms. Pay only after testing, and never send a deposit to a seller you haven’t met.
