Tecno Camon 18 price in Nigeria (September 2026)

Checked on Jiji.ng on 28 September 2026. There were only four Camon 18 listings and two Camon 18 Premier listings, so expect prices to move. Jumia’s Camon 18 page listed accessories only (cases ₦3,500–₦11,000, screen protectors ₦2,380–₦2,800).

The average of the three used Camon 18 listings was about ₦98,000. Use that as your starting point when you negotiate. A clean unit with its box, charger and a battery that holds well is worth the upper end. One with screen marks or a weak battery is worth the lower end.

What affects the Camon 18 price

• Which “18” it is. The standard 18, the 18P and the 18 Premier are very different phones. Sellers sometimes blur the names, so check the model in Settings.
• Battery wear. A phone from 2021 or 2022 has had years of charging. A tired battery is the biggest hidden cost.
• “New” versus open-box. A “brand new” Camon 18 in 2026 is old stock or a returned unit. It is worth paying extra only if the box is sealed and the seller gives a written warranty.
• City. Nnewi and Computer Village in Ikeja have the most stock and the keenest prices.

Camon 18 vs Camon 18P vs Camon 18 Premier

All three launched together on 6 October 2021. The table below shows how they differ. Buyers searching for “Camon 18P price” should know the 18P is a real step up from the standard 18, not just a colour option.

Specs: Tech-ish Kenya’s launch comparison (Nov 2021) and Wikipedia’s Camon 18 article. Prices: Jiji.ng, 28 Sept 2026.

Which should you get? For everyday use and long battery life, the standard Camon 18 is the value pick. The 18P is worth it if you find one, because it has double the RAM and faster 33W charging. The Premier is the camera phone. Its gimbal-stabilised lens and periscope zoom were unusual at this price in 2021. It is also the only one with an AMOLED screen.

Tecno Camon 18 specifications in detail

• Screen: 6.8-inch IPS LCD, 1080 × 2400, 90Hz refresh rate.
• Performance: the Helio G88 is a mid-range 4G chip. It is fine for social media, YouTube and light games, but not for heavy gaming at high settings.
• Memory: 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, the only Camon 18 variant we found listed in Nigeria. Searches for “Camon 18 128GB price” refer to this same phone.
• Cameras: a 48MP main camera with 2MP macro and 2MP depth helpers, and a 16MP selfie camera with dual front flash, which is handy for night selfies.
• Battery: 5,000mAh with 18W charging. On a healthy unit, that is comfortably a full day.
• Connectivity: 4G only, no 5G.

The old version of this page listed an 8MP ultra-wide and a 6GB RAM option. We could not confirm either for the standard Camon 18, so we have removed them.

Is the Camon 18 still worth buying in 2026?

Yes, as a used phone at the right price. No, as a “new” phone at ₦170,000. For around ₦100,000 you get a big 90Hz screen, a 5,000mAh battery and 128GB of storage. That is solid value for WhatsApp, social media, mobile banking and streaming. The trade-offs:

• It launched on Android 11. Check the installed version in Settings. Banking apps eventually drop support for old Android versions.
• No 5G, which is not a problem for most users in Nigeria today.
• At ₦170,000 you are close to the price of a brand-new Tecno Spark 40 (₦189,500–₦255,000 on Jumia in September 2026), which has a warranty and current software.

Where to buy a Camon 18 in Nigeria

• Jiji.ng. This is where most remaining units are. Prefer verified sellers and meet in person to test the phone.
• Computer Village, Ikeja and Nnewi phone markets. You can compare several units side by side and bargain.
• Jumia. As of September 2026, Jumia listed only Camon 18 accessories, not the phone itself. Any “Camon 18” phone listing you see there is probably a newer model or a mislabelled item.
• Tecno/Carlcare. Carlcare is Tecno’s service network. It is useful for checking whether a unit is genuine and for battery or screen replacement quotes.

Checklist before you pay

1. Settings › About phone should show the right model (Camon 18, 18P or 18 Premier), RAM and storage.
2. Dial *#06#. The IMEI must match the box and the SIM tray.
3. Check that the phone is signed out of Google and has been reset in front of you. A phone still linked to someone’s Google account can lock you out after a reset.
4. Test the 90Hz screen by scrolling fast and looking for touch dead spots. Check for green or pink lines.
5. Plug in the charger and confirm it charges. The 18P and Premier should show fast charging with the right charger.
6. Take photos with every rear lens and the front flash. A missing lens mode can mean a swapped camera module.
7. Get a written receipt showing the IMEI, the seller’s name, their phone number and any return window.
